What areas does our firm serve?
we serve roughly thirty communities across Cook and Lake Counties in Illinois. Chicago's Northern Suburbs and North Shore. Core service area includes Evanston, Wilmette, Winnetka, Glencoe, Highland Park, Lake Forest, Northbrook, Glenview, Skokie, Deerfield, Lake Bluff, Kenilworth, and surrounding communities. The firm has been headquartered in Evanston since 1998.
Do you require in-person meetings?
No. Clients meet in the firm's Evanston office at 909 Davis Street, at their own home or kitchen table, or by video call, whichever they prefer. Many out-of-state retirees and snowbirds work with the firm exclusively by phone and video. The Evanston office is a five-minute walk from the Davis Street Metra for clients who prefer to come in.
Do you serve clients outside the Northern Suburbs?
Yes, though the firm focuses on Chicago's north and northwest suburbs. Existing clients who relocate, most commonly to Florida, Arizona, or to be near grandchildren, typically continue working with the firm by video. We serve clients across Illinois and, on a relationship basis, in other states.
Do you have offices in other cities?
No. The firm operates from a single office at 909 Davis Street, Suite 500, Evanston, IL 60201. Keeping a single, family-staffed office is intentional, it means every client works with us directly rather than being routed through a regional rep.
How are you different from a national wirehouse advisor?
we're independent and family-owned, with no parent brokerage above the firm dictating product menus or sales quotas. We don't sell proprietary products. Every recommendation is independent of any single carrier. Compared to a wirehouse rep who may rotate every few years, the same family has served Northern Suburbs clients here for nearly fifty years.
